As mentioned above, our athlete Sander can continue training and we are making personal training schedules. We have prepared a new training schedule for the next three weeks. In this schedule, his workouts will increase in intensity over three weeks.
Our main goal is to try to increase his level of endurance power so that he can sustain a higher power for a longer period of time. To monitor his progress, he regularly performs a 1500m test on the Tacx. During such a test we try to keep all variables constant so that a change in end time will mainly say something about his actual physical status. This 1500m test will now be done on a quiet road outside instead of on the velodrome.
