PULSE Racing will work with SDSS

There have been developments concerning functional electrical stimulation (FES) as well. The PULSE Racing team will, from now on, implement SDSS in the training sessions. SDSS stands for Spatially Distributed Sequential Stimulation, or distributed stimulation. The electrical impulses are sent to 4 small electrodes instead of one electrode. Frame BerkelBike adapted

The frame of the current BerkelBike from PULSE Racing has been modified. During the Vondel games athletes indicated that the bike is not very stable when making turns. By turning the frame of the bicycle we have lowered the center of gravity. Through this, the sitting posture has also changed slightly, which has been positively received by the athletes.

We would like to introduce our new website which was launched in the last week of 2018. The website has a different layout for a cleaner look. The mission and vision have also been described more specifically and all current photos of the members are now under the heading “team”. Workshop Cefar Compex

Last Monday, a workshop was given by the company of┬áCefar Compex. Marco Maas took care of this workshop. The company Cefar Compex sells various materials, including the compex equipment that we also use to provide electrostimulation for our athletes.   But how does this electrostimulation exactly feel and what are all the possible programs to apply electrostimulation?
